The hotel had a mixed experience with some highlights like clean rooms and nice staff but also some drawbacks including a strong chlorine smell by the pool and crowded dining area. The location was convenient for the intended activities with plenty of nearby restaurants. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were spacious and equipped with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, providing ample space for my 4-year-old niece. The proximity to the outside door was convenient, although the decor could benefit from some updating.
I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. While the room was uncomfortably hot and had a stale cigarette smell, the hot tub was a nice touch. The bathroom was cramped, and the amenities like the towels and pillows were subpar. The location was convenient for my stay, especially being close to the University of Iowa for a graduation event. The hotel was kept very clean, but unfortunately, I had a view right outside my room window. The dining options were minimal, and although the Neapolitan pizza was out of this world, the overall experience was just okay.
